Ishkq in Paris is a comeback (of sorts) for Preity Zinta and it is her own production. Quite literally it must be labour of love. But critics don't seem to have taken a shine to it.

Akash (Rhehan Malliek aka Gaurav Channa) and Ishkq (Preity Zinta) decide to spend one day together in Paris, frolicking, singing and flirting. We have now been informed that the former Sri Lankan beauty queen will be cast opposite Salman Khan in Sajid Nadiadwala's action caper, Kick. What's more is that apparently, Jacqueline's Race 2 co-star Deepika Padukone was also in contention to bag the film, but the Murder 2 (2011) girl ultimately emerged victorious.
"Nadiadwala wanted a fresh pair. And that's why he thought of several names before zeroing in on Jacqueline and Deepika. No one knew about Jacqueline even being considered for the role, but she has managed to bag it. Nadiadwala and Salman are impressed with her work," says an insider.

While Bachchan had a cameo in the Festival’s inaugural movie, Baz Luhrmann’s 1920s American story, The Great Gatsby, DiCaprio plays the title character.
In an important way, Bachchan’s pivotal role on the stage seemed befitting of Cannes’ celebration of Indian cinema’s 100 years.

Mumbai, May 19 – A filmmaker's worst nightmare is his shooting schedule getting delayed for one reason or another. And Kareena Kapoor is aware about that. This is why, a few days ago, she turned up for the shoot of her upcoming film, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, even though she was unwell.
A source says, "Kareena has been shooting continuously for the Karan Johar production. Usually, a shoot goes on for 12 hours, from 9 am to 9 pm or 8 am to 8 pm. And as they are shooting at Film City in Goregaon, the sweltering heat took a toll on her. She developed a fever and was running a temperature of 102 degrees. At one point, she thought of cancelling the shoot, but decided against it. She continued to work as the makers had already blocked Imran Khan's dates for the schedule."

High on energy and beats, it's an out and out fun and masti album. Though the inclination is towards vibrant and youthful compositions, it does have its share of emotional songs.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has shared his experience on shooting his upcoming film 'Kaanchi' and said he is equally excited about it as he was about his film 'Hero'.
Ghai said, "Last week while I was shooting for my film Kaanchi in Uttaranchal, I experienced one of the most magical moments of my life - the mystic mountains, mesmerising music, colourful dancers and a young crew. But what thrilled me the most was the performance of my heroine Mishti, who is playing the title role."
He said, "It reminded me how excited I was working with newcomers Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri in Hero in the 80s."
