Kareena Kapoor shoots in the city's sweltering heat despite running a high fever

By HT
Mumbai, May 19 – A filmmaker's worst nightmare is his shooting schedule getting delayed for one reason or another. And Kareena Kapoor is aware about that. This is why, a few days ago, she turned up for the shoot of her upcoming film, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, even though she was unwell.
A source says, "Kareena has been shooting continuously for the Karan Johar production. Usually, a shoot goes on for 12 hours, from 9 am to 9 pm or 8 am to 8 pm. And as they are shooting at Film City in Goregaon, the sweltering heat took a toll on her. She developed a fever and was running a temperature of 102 degrees. At one point, she thought of cancelling the shoot, but decided against it. She continued to work as the makers had already blocked Imran Khan's dates for the schedule."

Instead, Kareena rested on her day off, on May 16, and reported to the sets for shooting the next day despite running a fever. The source adds, "They will be filming for more than three weeks in Film City. And as the shoot is mostly outdoors, it will be taxing for her."
While Kareena was unavailable for comment, her spokesperson says, "Yes, it's true. Kareena was unwell and was advised rest. However, she shot for Gori Tere Pyaar Mein at Film City despite being ill since she didn't wish to waste the dates of other actors or cause inconvenience to the production house."
